Airawat Research Foundation is a Section 8 not-for-profit company established by IIT Kanpur to operate the National Center of Excellence for AI in Sustainable Cities.

The Mission is To facilitate development of technology-led products and services that help in the development of sustainable cities and to be India's premier hub for translational research towards urban sustainability.
